The Xiaomi 11T Pro is the flagship model in Xiaomi’s newest lineup of phones, the 11T line. We put it to the test to determine whether it is worthwhile investing in.

What is the purpose of the Xiaomi 11T Pro?

The Xiaomi 11T Pro has some very outstanding specs, including the Snapdragon 888 processor, which was covered in the features section. As a result, it is capable of doing a variety of tasks. Because of its CPU, the phone is more than capable of handling gaming, albeit prolonged sessions may cause a small amount of heating.

The overall experience of using the phone is smooth because to this processing power, which is also helpful for other tasks like photo and video editing. You won’t have any trouble editing your most recent images, uploading stuff to social media, or streaming entertainment from Netflix and Disney Plus.

In addition, the 5G features of the phone make video calls a breeze when you’re in a 5G-enabled location. Visit our top 5G phone page to see how the 11T Pro compares to the 5G competition.

Mi 11T Pro has attributes

The Xiaomi 11T Pro’s Snapdragon 888 chipset seamlessly integrates its feature set, enabling a fluid user experience, excellent photography, and an eye-catching display. 8GB of Memory and 128GB of storage—which, regrettably, cannot be expanded—back up that chipset.

The adaptive refresh rate feature, which gives a higher refresh rate when needed but reduces when it can conserve battery power, may be used to manually alter the AMOLED display between a 60Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.

The display is the element that really stands out. It accurately reproduces colors, is bright and sharp, and Xiaomi has been quick to draw attention to the phone’s speakers, which were “tuned by Harman Kadron” and, to be truthful, are very excellent. When playing music louder than some comparable Android phones, the speakers still provide great sound.

11T Pro Xiaomi battery

One of the Xiaomi 11T Pro’s unique selling factors is its ability to rapid charge. This feature has been a top priority for the Chinese smartphone manufacturer for some time, and the new device comes with a pleasantly quick 120W USBC charger.

This device can charge your phone from zero to one hundred percent in around twenty minutes. In this case, the Xiaomi 11T Pro might be the ideal update for you if having to wait for your existing phone to charge is the scourge of your existence.

Even with heavy video streaming, browsing, and music playback while the 120Hz refresh rate was enabled, we discovered that the 5000mAh battery comfortably lasted the entire day with some left over. Although not the finest available, the battery life exceeds the iPhone 12 fairly comfortably and recharges quickly.

Camera Xiaomi 11T Pro

The back camera array of the 11T Pro consists of three lenses. The Snapdragon 888 chipset and the main camera’s 108mp (f/1.75) wide-angle lens often work well together to produce detailed, rich images.

Moreover, a 5mp (f/2.4) 2x telemacro lens with sharp close-up detail and an 8mp (f/2.2) 120-degree ultra-wide angle lens are included. Although the ultra-wide and selfie cameras on the 11T Pro have slightly lower megapixel counts than those on the more costly Mi 11, this rear array is quite comparable to that found on the Xiaomi Mi 11.

Both the front and rear cameras in our tests performed admirably, however they only produced the highest-quality photographs in ideal lighting. To assist customers get the most out of the camera, there is also a high-res “Pro” option and a portrait mode.

Mi 11T Pro’s appearance

The phone is attractive and tactile. We adored the rear casing’s bright, dazzling appearance, but regrettably, fingerprints are drawn to it like a magnet. The entire phone easily and frustratingly attracts dust, dirt, and fingerprints. A simple case is provided in the box to help with this issue, but it detracted from the phone’s hand-feel and made it slightly bulkier.

A screen protector is also pre-installed on the phone. When compared to some of the high-end smartphones that the Xiaomi 11T Pro is aiming to compete with, this is generally a good thing and a nice touch, but it does seem very bit cheap. The cutout for the selfie camera is where the screen protector’s edge is most noticeable. There will inevitably be some little corners made when trying to deliver a premium experience at a lower price point, but this is one of them.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro might be the best upgrade for you if you’re a “power user” on a tight budget and can’t afford to spend the £1000+ that top-end phones now demand. Even if this phone has a few minor drawbacks, it still has a ton to offer.
